I have the a wonderful time the other day capturing Anne and Morgan's engagement images. The fresh coffee kicked off our early morning session in Highland Park.

Anne picked this fun image for their save the date card.

Morgan just loved guarding this image from the bridge.

Been supper busy with all the holiday work, but I took a few minutes to capture a few images of my wife Elsie. Seven month gone only 8 weeks until a little bundle of joy will be here! We finished the nursery over Thanksgivings so we eagerly waiting for our daughters arrival.

Bridals in Mexcio

Elsie and I had so much fun visiting family and friends in Monterrey, Mexico. I was so honored to be able to take Alexandra's bridal images while we were visiting. Although the weather was not cooperating with lots of rain durning the day we had for the session, we where able to get some great images around the house.

Is image everything? Tips to look for in a Wedding Photographer

When looking for your wedding photography here are a few things to keep in mine.

* Are they passionate about their work? Don't settle for a photographer who teats every bride the same. Look for a photographer who can tell a unique story through their images.

* Do you click with them? Personality is one of the most important things to consider when you're interviewing photographers. You should feel like you're talking to a good friend, and they should be able to make your laugh.

* Does the photographer follow up after the interview? The personal touch is the best way to show professionalism. A photographer that follows up with you after the interview and is genuinely concern with your questions and feelings are more likely going to be able to capture the emotional images you are looking for.

Elsie and I hope these tips help you in your search for wedding photographer that fits you best.

Elsie my sister and I had so much fun meeting brides and vendors this weekend at the unveiled Bridal Show. We got to meet and get to know so many great people and are looking forwarded to meeting with some of the brides in the coming days at our studio for their consultation.

Counting your blessings!

Elsie and I received one of the sweetest letters from a customer. She was a beautiful bride from a resent wedding and just wanted to let us know how much she and her new husband love our images and how much she enjoyed our friendship. A quote from the letter. “ I remember when I was looking for photographers for our wedding. I had already interviewed a couple of other photographers before my husband and I meet you and your wife. We loved how you took the time to get to know us and what we wanted. We felt so good after talking to you, we knew you where the ones of us. Now after getting my album back yesterday I knew you where meant for us. I still cry every time I page through it. Every laugh, tear and hug was there. All the little details where there to. Thank you so much!”

From Cell Phone to wall art!

I just finished a special project for one of our clients. They had a picture of the Kremlin from a trip they had taken several years ago to Moscow. The image was taken with a .9 MP cell phone camera and they ask me if there was any way I could fix it so they could display it in their home. After some re-sizing in photoshop I when to work in Painter and the finished off the print on Fine Art Velum Paper. Now they have a true pice of art to hang on their wall.

Hensel and Garza Families,

We took the pictures on location and we enjoyed every moment with the family, but what was a blest was when the family came to the studio to see the slide show of their pictures, we had to run for Kleenex, we all were so excited to see Grandma and Grandpa pictures, like dating still, and the 2 families portraits, you guys are like professionals, the 5 grandkids were fantastic, we loved to have you here. Today I completed this beautiful painted portrait of Jill’s family. I love the feeling in the unity of family captured in this portrait.
